My way to Train
Step 1: The owner describes the problems and conflicts
concerning the dog. Due to my long experience with so many different
dog-situations in Germany, Ireland and England , it is possible
for me to draw out a Trainingsplan to match the personal wishes.
Step 2: We take a walk together, we go there where the
problems occur, and we work on the ground rules for the dog:
Stop & Go, yes & no
Wanted behaviour & unwanted behaviour.
Step 3: The communication between the owner and dog must be
functioning. I observe and find the link between them.
Step 4: The dog meets and joins the pack. Here sozialisation
is the the key word, there is an older dog as teacher, an Alphadog for
the leadership and security, jung dogs to play with, and of course a
“childcare”. Here the dog will learn in a natural way, and how to find
a place in the hierarchy.
Ok, one could ask then why not put the dog at the start into the pack?
Yes and No, the pack doesn´t accept every dog, and that could be
a problem, and I must say that I also don´t accept every
dog/owner. Also its important and due to the safety aspect for the
dog/owner firstly to learn the basics.
